Night Hawk BA132

James Edgar's boat Night Hawk BA132, photographed at Dunure Harbour.

Originally fitted with a Kelvin model C4 60hp 4 cylinder sleeve-valve petrol / paraffin engine she was
re-engined in 1933 and was fitted with the first commercially sold Kelvin K4 Diesel Engine No. 17996.
The story goes that James was in tears as the old engine was being removed, as it had served him so well.

She was Commandeered for wartime service, I don't have any info regarding this but I suspect she was
probably used as a barrage balloon mooring to protect the docks at Glasgow
